Mini Cooper SE electric car bookings reopen in India

The Mini Cooper SE is priced at Rs. 50.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It now comes with more features.

Mini has reopened the bookings for the 3-Door Cooper SE electric hatchback. It is priced at Rs. 50.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The second batch of cars will include 40 units.

The Mini Cooper SE now comes equipped with Adaptive LED headlights, Comfort Access System, Driving Assistant, Parking Assistant, Sports Seats with new cloth and leatherette upholstery in Black Pearl Light Chequered and Seat heating for driver and front passenger.

The Mini Cooper SE uses an electric motor that makes 181 BHP and 270 Nm. It is powered by a 32.6 kWh battery that offers a maximum range of 270 km.

The battery can be charged to 80% in just 36 minutes using a 50 kW DC charge. An 11 kW AC charger can recharge the battery in 2 hours and 30 minutes, while it takes 9 hours and 43 minutes to recharge the battery using a 2.3 kW AC charger.
