More images: 2nd-gen Mahindra XUV500 interior

The pics also show the boot space of the car.

More images of the interior of the second-gen Mahindra XUV500 have surfaced online.

The spy images reveal a manual parking brake, which suggests that this could be a mid-spec variant. The SUV also gets leatherette seats and fake wood finish on the steering wheel. At the rear, the SUV gets central rear AC vents (first-gen had them on the B-pillars) and 2 headrests (the first-gen had 3). It appears to get a panoramic sunroof. The images also show the boot space with the third-row folded down.

The next generation XUV500 is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre mStallion T-GDi turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel unit. It will also get an optional 6-speed automatic transmission.

The SUV is likely to be launched in April 2021.
