Testing of the Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser continues. More spy images of the twin-cylinder motorcycle have surfaced online.

The latest pictures are amongst the clearest spy shots of the Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser so far. The turn indicators at the back of the test mule appear to be LED units. The engine casing is finished in black and seems to have an engraved RE logo.

The test mule is also fitted with a pillion backrest and a black crash guard. There is also a decent-sized clear windshield at the front and sturdy-looking rearview mirrors. Royal Enfield is likely to offer these as optional accessories.

The Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser would feature a teardrop-style fuel tank, round headlamp, RE’s Tripper Navigation, USD front forks, twin exhausts, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, etc.

Powering the Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser would be the same 649cc, parallel-twin engine that we have seen on the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It is capable of producing 47 BHP and 52 Nm and mated to a 6-speed gearbox accompanied by a slipper clutch.

Earlier reports suggest that the Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser is likely to be called the Super Meteor and expected to be unveiled at the EICMA 2021 in November this year.
