More images: Tata Nano Twist XTA

The upcoming Tata Nano Twist XTA has been spotted once again, this time near the Tata Motors plant in Sanand. The XTA gets a Magneti Marelli-sourced F-Tronic automated manual transmission, which is expected to make driving the car stress-free as it does not need a clutch to be operated.

Cosmetic changes include redesigned bumpers with honeycomb grilles, smoked headlamps and new, round fog lamps. The thin chrome strip on the bonnet has been replaced by a thick black unit with an integrated the Tata logo.

The XTA is expected to carry over the Nano Twist XT's electric power assisted steering (EPAS), which makes it easier to drive and park. Tata Motors is likely to load the car with features to give it an upmarket feel.

According to a report by Rush Lane, production of the Nano Twist XTA has commenced.
