MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Serie Oro goes into production

The limited edition MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Serie Oro has finally gone into production.

MV Agusta had revealed the retro-styled Superveloce 800 Serie Oro at the EICMA 2018. The bike features dual-tone carbon fibre bodywork inspired by MV Agusta superbikes from the 1970s. It has a round headlamp and 'Superveloce' lettering on the fairing. The bike comes with a low windscreen and a short tail section with a circular tail lamp. It rides on spoked wheels and has twin side-mounted exhausts.

The Superveloce 800 Serie Oro is powered by a 798cc, 3-cylinder engine that produces 146 BHP @ 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm @ 10,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The optional Racing Kit which comes with an SC Exhaust and a dedicated ECU map bumps the power up to 151 BHP @ 13,250 rpm.

The bike features 43 mm upside down fork suspension at the front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. It comes equipped with twin 320 mm disc brakes at the front and has a single 220 mm disc at the rear.
