My Slavia 1.5 DSG at 5 months & 4000 km: VCDS tweaks & other updates

I noticed that the ride was a bit harsh before and not sure if it is the tyres or the suspension softening up, the ride over rough patches is very settled now.

BHPian audioholic recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

My Slavia 1.5 DSG completed 4000 kms in a little more than five months. Off late, the panel creaks have disappeared and the ride is silent. Another thing I noticed was that the ride was a bit harsh before and not sure if it is the tyres or the suspension softening up, the ride over rough patches is very settled now.

A freak incident today:

I was on the way to my native and was nearing a toll booth and as I was trying to clear a bus, the bus also moved a bit to the right and there was a metal barricade right in front of me. Had less than a second to react and the car behaved really good. I'm trained to do these maneuvers at work but never against a metal barricade. And here the reaction time was around one second.

The tyres were grippy and no squeal as the ESP kicked in to stabilize the tail. I can now vouch for the Slavia's handling.

In other news, I made some more VCDS tweaks:

Performance display where I can check the boost pressure and engine RPM since I could not enable additional tacho display in the cluster:

Now I can know why start stop doesn't let engine shut down:

This is the overall main menu now on the head unit now:
