My Triumph Street Triple R: 15,000 km ownership update

The first major service is due in a couple of months and it supposedly will be a bit heavy on the wallet.

The positives mentioned in the 10k update are still the positives. It’s a lovely multi-cylinder bike which delivers as promised.

The engine is a beauty which works like clockwork. It can go into that un-mentionable speed in hardly a couple of seconds. It still scares the hell out of me!

Steel braided brake lines are such a boon. It never felt spongy/vague despite my vigorously using it during my ‘wet’ ride to Varandha.

Seat comfort is decent and you can go miles before having to stop. Chances are you will stop either for bio-break or refuelling and not due to fatigue.

A ride to celebrate this figure.
