My verdict on Ride-On-Air seats for Interceptor 650 after a long ride

No significant height was gained on the seat, I'm 176 cm and 74 kg for reference and can comfortably flat foot.

Been using this Ride on Air seat for some time to tackle my only real gripe with the Interceptor - too soft & thin seat foam. Felt like sitting on two rails after a while, not exactly pleasant.

Verdict: On the stock seat, I couldn't ride earlier for > 45-50 minutes continuously without getting a literal major pain in the ***. With this seat, I'm able to go up to 2 hours before needing to stop. That's about the max I would normally also ride before taking a break so very happy with the results.

Has a non-slip kinda material on the underside. Not really a fast corner carver so can't comment on the impact on that front but haven't felt the seat move around much, maybe it's too early for that.

Comes with good instructions on how to use it.

What's the best pressure for comfort? Well, it's kinda a seat of a pants feeling, and would vary individually I suppose.

The best part, the pump and deflating valve mechanism ( the handle-like thing on the side) are integrated with the seat & can be operated on the go with just one hand without the need to stop, allowing real-time pressure adjustments. Found it particularly helpful as I feel the shearing force/pressure on the ..um. Netherlands is better mitigated while going downhill with the cells at a slightly higher pressure while on a level surface, a lesser pressure is more comfortable.
