Kia is gearing up to launch its new compact SUV, Syros, in the Indian market. It will be unveiled on December 19 ahead of its official launch at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025.
The Kia Syros is expected to be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos. Teaser images suggest that it will have a boxy design inspired by the Kia EV9.
The third-generation Amaze will be launched in the Indian market on December 4.
The new-gen Honda Amaze has been designed at the Honda R&D Asia Pacific centre in Thailand. The overall styling appears to have been heavily inspired by the Honda City. Under the bonnet, the new-gen Amaze is likely to retain the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. This unit produces 89 BHP and 110 Nm and is available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
Earlier this month, Skoda launched its first sub-4 meter SUV, the Kylaq, in the Indian market. The compact SUV is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will commence on December 2, and the full price list will be revealed on the same day.
The Skoda Kylaq will be available in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature+ and Prestige. Deliveries will begin on January 27.
The Kylaq is powered by the familiar 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which produces 113 BHP and 178 Nm. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota is all set to launch the 9th-generation Camry in India on December 11. The new model will continue to be assembled using Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits.
The new-gen Toyota Camry is based on the TNGA-K platform. It uses a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol hybrid paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT).
