The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire was unveiled earlier this week. The popular compact sedan is set to go on sale on November 11 and will be available with both petrol and CNG powertrains at launch.
The new Dzire will be available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The CNG version will come in mid-spec VXi and ZXi trims, offering features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic headlamps, and rear AC vents, among others.
The Dzire CNG will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 68 BHP and 101.8 Nm in CNG mode. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
According to Maruti Suzuki, the new Dzire CNG returns a mileage of 33.73 km/kg, which is slightly higher than the Swift CNG.
The Dzire CNG will compete with the Tata Tigor iCNG and Hyundai Aura CNG in the compact sedan space.
