Toyota has released teaser images of the upcoming Camry. As per reports, the 9th-generation Camry will be launched in India on December 11.
The new-gen Toyota Camry is based on the TNGA-K platform. The teaser images partially reveal the front fascia of the car. The sedan has a sharp nose section with U-shaped LED DRLs.
Inside, the Camry gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, while higher variants get 12.3-inch displays and a 10-inch head-up display. Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 ADAS suite.
The all-new Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol hybrid paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT). In the global market, the new model is available in front-wheel drive and AWD configurations. The front-wheel-drive version gets two electric motors with a combined output of 222 BHP. The all-wheel drive version gets an additional motor-generator on the rear axle and packs 229 BHP.
