New Harley-Davidson 300cc cruiser spied in China

Harley-Davidson’s upcoming entry-level 300cc cruiser motorcycle has been spied, with the Qianjiang SRV300 badging in China.

Back in 2019, Harley-Davidson had announced a collaboration with Chinese motorcycle brand Qianjiang Motor to produce small-displacement models for the Asian market.

Now, images of a new 300cc cruiser motorcycle called the Qianjiang SRV300 have been leaked online. While the bike will go on sale in China, it is expected to be rebadged as a Harley-Davidson for other Asian markets.

Reports suggest that the upcoming Harley-Davidson 300cc cruiser will be powered by a 296cc V-twin engine producing around 30 BHP. It is expected to have a low kerb weight of 163 kg, allowing for spirited performance.

As seen from the leaked images, the design of the new motorcycle seems to be inspired by the Harley-Davidson Iron 883. This includes the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece seat, round headlamps and an extended rear fender. The motorcycle also has upside-down forks at the front and disc brakes at both ends.

The new Harley-Davidson 300cc cruiser motorcycle could be introduced in the Indian market as well. However, there is no official word at this point.
