New Volkswagen electric car to be revealed at CES 2023

The electric car will be revealed on January 3, 2023.

Volkswagen is likely to reveal a new electric car at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, scheduled on January 3.

While the German car brand hasn't revealed any details of the upcoming EV, a camouflaged version of the car will be unveiled, along with the announcement of its official name.

As per reports, Volkswagen has so far announced that it will be producing the ID.Aero which is a sedan and a large SUV called the ID.8. The carmaker had even revealed the concept images of the ID.Aero back in June this year, with its production version expected to be revealed sometime in 2023. The Volkswagen ID.8 was announced back in 2021, however, no details have been released since.

Reports speculate that the upcoming Volkswagen electric car could be the camouflaged near-production version of the ID.Aero electric sedan. Also, going by Volkswagen's nomenclature for its ID models, the upcoming car could be called "ID.7".

However, we will have to wait for CES 2023 to begin for the official confirmation.
