Next-gen Hyundai Elantra interiors teased

Hyundai has released a teaser image of the interiors of the sixth-generation Elantra. The car is expected to make its official debut next month.

The image indicates that the car is likely to get the same interior design as the test mule that was spotted earlier this year (click here to read report).

The new Elantra's dashboard is a lot less curvy compared to that of the current model. It has a dual tone theme with silver and chrome inserts. The air vents have been redesigned and there is a new infotainment system as well. The centre console is restyled and houses new controls for the climate control unit. The car gets a new multifunction steering wheel as well. There are a couple of cup holders below the handbrake lever and a central armrest at the front. The doors have silver and chrome inserts too.

Earlier this month, Hyundai had released a teaser image of the exteriors of the car (click here to read report). There was also an image that appeared on the internet showing the car without any camouflage (click here to read report).
