Isuzu has released a teaser video of the next-generation Isuzu D-Max. The short video clip partly reveals some of the exterior and interior details of the vehicle.

The third-generation D-Max gets a redesigned grille finished in black and wraparound headlights with integrated U-shaped LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has a silver skid plate and vertically stacked fog lamp pods. The rear features new twin-pod tail lamps.

The new D-Max is also expected to receive an updated interior. It could get a dashboard with leather and piano black trim. Images suggest that the centre fascia gets a silver border and the gear lever too has silver inserts and a leather boot.

Reports suggest that the third-generation D-Max has been developed in collaboration with Mazda. It is expected to get 4-wheel drive with shift-on-fly and sequential shift automatic transmission with manual mode.

In India, the present generation D-Max is offered with 1.9-litre and 2.5-litre diesel engine options. The smaller 1.9-litre engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the latter comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
