Mahindra has released the extended version of the next-gen Scorpio teaser that aired last week.

The latest video reveals more details of the upcoming SUV. The video predominantly focuses on the front fascia of the car, which features the brand's new radiator grille. We also get a glimpse of the twin-pod headlamps, LED daytime running lights and the car's dual-tone alloy wheels.

The new Scorpio (codenamed: Z101) is expected to be based on a ladder-frame chassis. It is likely to be powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk motor producing around 130 BHP.

Reports also suggest that Mahindra could offer a more powerful diesel engine which could be reserved for higher variants equipped with all-wheel drive.
