You may have seen numerous spy shots of the next-generation Mahindra Scorpio till now. However, this time, the SUV has been spotted in Europe.
The test car was seen on a highway near Budapest, Hungary. The heavily camouflaged mule looks identical to the test mules that have been spotted in India, except for one tiny detail.
This particular test mule has a Class 9 Hazmat sticker on the rear glass, which has led to speculations that it might be a hybrid version.
The new Scorpio will be based on an updated ladder-frame chassis and will come with all-wheel drive as well. Reports suggest that it is likely to be offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 158 BHP. The engine could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
