Next-gen Mahindra Scorpio test mule catches fire

A test mule of the next-generation Mahindra Scorpio caught fire while it was out testing and the incident has been captured on video.

The video shows the test car engulfed in flames. Also, the front suspension of the vehicle seems to have completely collapsed.

According to media reports, the driver noticed smoke coming out from the engine bay. He stopped the car at the side of the road and before he could get any help, the fire had engulfed it completely. No one is reported to have been injured in the incident.

This is not the first time a Mahindra prototype has been involved in an accident. Back in 2013, a KUV100 prototype had crashed in the Nilgiri Hills.
