Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio bookings open

The new Celerio will compete with the likes of the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro.

Bookings for the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio are now open. Customers can pre-book the car online or at any Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom by paying a token amount of Rs. 11,000.

The new Celerio is expected to be based on the fifth-generation Heartect platform. The car features a redesigned exterior and refreshed interior complete with a touchscreen infotainment system.

Under the bonnet, the Celerio will be powered by a new K-Series engine featuring Idle Start-Stop. The 1.0-litre motor will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

The new Celerio will compete with the likes of the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro.
