Next-gen MG Hector's bold grille revealed in new teaser

The basic shape of the Hector's new grille is similar to the Hyundai Alcazar.

MG Motor India has released another teaser video of the next-generation Hector. The latest video reveals the SUV’s new front fascia.

The 2022 MG Hector gets a heavily revised front end. It has an expansive chrome grille with LED daytime running lights on either end. The basic shape of the grille is similar to the Hyundai Alcazar.

The new Hector also has a redesigned front bumper that houses large headlamp pods on either side. Also, note that the SUV appears to be equipped with a radar sensor for the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Inside, the 2022 Hector will get a 14-inch Portrait infotainment system and a redesigned dashboard and digital instrument cluster. The SUV is unlikely to receive any mechanical updates and will continue to use the same 2.0-litre diesel, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrains.
