Next-gen Range Rover teased ahead of October 26 debut

The top-spec Range Rover is expected to use a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8.

Land Rover has released a teaser image of the next-generation Range Rover. The brand's flagship SUV is set to make its debut on October 26, 2021.

The new Range Rover will be based on the MLA platform. While the overall design of the current model will be carried over, the new-gen is expected to get a revised front fascia with updated LED headlamps as well as a new grille. It would also have tweaked LED taillights.

The SUV is expected to get a slew of updates in the interior, including a new dashboard with multiple touchscreens and a host of new features and equipment.

The 2022 Range Rover is likely to be offered with the same 2.0-litre, 6-cylinder engine option, however, the top-spec variant is expected to get a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8. A plug-in hybrid version is also on the cards.
