According to a media report, the next-generation Skoda Kodiaq will make its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Show on January 17, 2025.
The new Kodiaq is based on the MQB platform and is slightly larger in size compared to the outgoing version. It features a revised grille, LED headlamps, and U-shaped LED tail lights at the back with the ‘Skoda’ lettering in the centre.
Inside, the Kodiaq gets a dual-tone dashboard with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, a 2-spoke steering wheel, and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. It comes in 5 & 7-seater configurations and is equipped with ADAS.
The new Kodiaq might be offered in at least two different variants at launch, with the higher-spec variant getting 4-wheel drive. The SUV will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the outgoing model. It produces 187 BHP and 320 Nm and will be paired with a 7-speed DSG.
The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be launched in the Indian market around mid-2025.
