Reports suggest that the new-gen Suzuki S-Cross will come with the brand's new light hybrid technology (MHEV). The 2022 Suzuki S-Cross will get an updated 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

The engine on the new-gen crossover could be paired with either a new 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission. Suzuki could also introduce its AllGrip 4x4 drive system on the 2022 S-Cross.
