Nissan Magnite Concept unveiled

Nissan has taken the wraps off the Magnite Concept. A sub-4 meter SUV based on this concept will be launched in the Indian market in FY2020.

The Magnite Concept has a large octagonal grille that looks similar to what you get on a Datsun. It also sports the new Nissan logo. The grille is flanked by slim headlamp clusters and L-shaped LED daytime running lights. It has black cladding around its flared wheel arches and a chunky skid plate that adds a rugged look.

The Magnite Concept sports a dual-tone exterior with a black roof. It has silver roof rails and tail lamps that look similar to those on the Renault Triber. The car is equipped with dual-tone alloy wheels.

The production version of the Magnite concept will be based on the CMF-A+ platform. This is the same platform that underpins the Renault Triber. Nissan hasn't provided details of the engines that will be offered in the Magnite, however it could be powered by a 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine, while lower variants might get a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre unit.
