Nissan Magnite teased in official video

View Forum Discussion

Nissan has released a video on its official Youtube channel which gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Magnite sub-4 meter SUV.

Earlier this week, Nissan announced its 4-year transformation plan to restructure its global business. The company also announced that it would launch 12 new models in the next 18 months. One of these is likely to be the Magnite.

The teaser reveals the silhouette of the car. It has L-shaped LED daytime running lights positioned on the front bumper and sweptback headlamps which also appear to have LEDs. The SUV also has roof rails and a rear roof spoiler.

The Magnite will be based on the CMF-A+ platform. It is expected to share its underpinnings with the Renault Triber. The SUV could be powered by a 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine, while lower variants might get a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre engine.
