Oben Rorr EZ electric bike launched at Rs 89,999

The Rorr EZ is powered by LFP batteries offering up to 140 km of range.

Oben Electric has launched the 'Rorr EZ' in India. The electric bike is available in three variants with different battery sizes. Prices start at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Oben Rorr EZ uses high-performance LFP battery technology with 50% higher temperature resistance, longer life and better reliability. The bike is available in 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery packs offering a range of up to 80 km, 110 km and 140 km, respectively.

The batteries can be charged from 0-100% SOC in either 4, 5 or 7 hours, respectively. The bike also supports fast charging, topping up the batteries from 0-80% SOC in 45 minutes for the smaller 2.6 kWh battery, while taking 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours, for the 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh batteries, respectively.

All three variants of the Rorr EZ come with an electric motor that has a peak output of 7.5 kW and 52 Nm. It enables the bike to accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The Rorr EZ has three riding modes: Eco, City and Havoc. The top speed is said to be restricted to 40 km/h, 60 km/h and 95 km/h in each of these modes.

The Oben Rorr EZ is also equipped with several safety features, including UBA, Geo-Fencing, Theft Protection and DAS.
