In pics: Attended the 2023 Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto

The major automotive exhibitors include Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Jeep, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Mclaren, Polestar, Tesla, etc.

BHPian mnram recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

I was able to attend the 2023 Canadian International Autoshow held in Toronto, which is coming back after 2 years of COVID.

A brief history of the show. The first edition was held in 1974, back then simply called the “Toronto Auto show” set up by the TADA (Trillium Automobile Dealers Association) and was held at the International Centre at Mississauga, Ontario. In 1986, they moved the location to the Toronto Convention Centre which was closer to the subways and trains.

For this year, the major automotive exhibitors include Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Chrysler, Jeep, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Mclaren, Polestar, Tesla, and Vinfast to name a few.

Other major features were the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It is a show of classic and rare automobiles, usually done in September. They were doing an exhibit celebrating 75 years of Porsche in the International show. They even had a restored 1969 917 Long Tail that debuted at the 1000km race at Spa and won the pole in its first race.

Auto Exotica section was packed with a ton of luxury, super and hypercars from the past to the present. It included cars like the 1957 Aston Martin DB2, the 1961 Mercedes Benz 300SL Roadster to the McLaren Senna, Ford GT MK II to name a few.

Another was the Camp Jeep experience where experienced drivers allow riders through a man-made, off-road course showcasing the capabilities of various Jeep vehicles.

A new addition was the indoor EV test track, where one can test drive one of the 19 EVs available ranging from the Chevrolet Bolt to the Cadillac LYRIQ.

I will let the pictures do more of the talking now.

Hyundai had the N Vision 74 concept on display. This is one gorgeous-looking concept.
