I was in Munich back in October for some meetings and I managed to find some time in the evening for a visit to BMW Museum and Welt. I last visited these 2 places 8 yrs ago. I got curious to know what had changed.
First off, the Museum.

The first BMW - a 1927 3/15. Fun fact- it was originally sold as a Dixi from 1927-1929 and later as a BMW from 1929-1932 after acquiring the Dixi business. It was originally licensed from Austin.
the R 32: 1923-1926
BMW 003: Axial Turbo-Jet Engine from 1944.
BMW Sauber F1.06: BMW's F1 contender.
The 3.0L NA V10 F1 Engine for the 2005 Season.
BMW's Formula-E contender.
BMW P54 B20 which some purists consider as the best engine ever from BMW.
The Brilliantly engineered i3. Unfortunately too radical for the market and hence a sales failure.
Various Aero application engines from 1926 to 1944.
1939 BMW 328 Mille Miglia. Still looks beautiful.
6.0L NA V12 that powered the LeMans winning 1999 BMW V12 LMR
