In pictures: The East Himalaya Vintage Car Rally 2022 reaches Assam

It began in Kolkata & travelled by road to Bhutan. Now it has crossed the border back into India before culminating in Myanmar.

The East Himalaya Vintage car rally 2022 is a 26-day rally wherein classic car enthusiasts from various countries of Europe have embarked on a 3950 KM long journey. The rally that began in Kolkata has travelled by road to our neighbouring country Bhutan and has now crossed the border back into India before it culminates in Myanmar.

When the rally entered Assam, they got to know about Mr. Pickloo Deka’s car collection located near Guwahati. The group was eager to see his collection and in pursuance of that, met him in Guwahati.

I got a call from Mr. Deka yesterday about this rally, but unfortunately, I wasn’t in Assam, so missed the opportunity of seeing these magnificent cars. However, Mr. Deka has been kind enough to send these pictures.
