PM Modi's new ride is a Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Guard

A Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Guard has been added to the Prime Minister's fleet of cars. It replaces the Range Rover Vogue.

The Maybach S 650 Guard is one of the safest luxury limousines available in the market today. The car is equipped with layers of armour and polycarbonate windows designed to withstand bullets. It can also protect the occupants from a 15 kg TNT blast from a distance of just 2 meters.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Guard is powered by a 6.0-litre, twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 516 BHP and 900 Nm. The car can reach an electronically limited top speed of 160 km/h.

The Maybach S 650 Guard is said to cost around Rs. 12 crores. The Prime Minister's fleet has two of these.
