Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid priced from Rs. 2.33 crore

Porsche will launch the Panamera E-Hybrid range in India next year. The cars are priced in the range of Rs. 2.33 crore to Rs. 2.46 crore (ex-showroom India). The bookings are now open, and the first cars will be delivered by early 2018.

Initially, Porsche will offer three hybrid variants of the Panamera - Turbo S E-Hybrid, Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive and Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is available in standard and extended wheelbase variants. The E-Hybrid Executive is 150 mm longer than the standard versions which has a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. 

Under the bonnet is a 3,996cc, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 542 BHP @ 5,750-6,500 rpm. The electric drive generates an additional 134 BHP for a combined output of 671 BHP. The engine produces a peak torque of 770 Nm @ 1,960-4,500 rpm. The electric drive adds another 400 Nm for a total of 850 Nm which is available from 1,400-5,500 rpm. The powerplant is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all wheels.

Porsche has also listed the Panamera E-Hybrid range on its website, which indicates that it might be launched at a later date.
