Production-spec Skoda Vision IN SUV to debut in Q1 2021

We might get to see the production version of the Vision IN Concept in early 2021.

According to a media report, Skoda is set to unveil the production-spec Vision IN crossover in the first quarter of 2021. The car will go on sale in the second quarter of the same year.

The Skoda Vision IN Concept was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The concept measures 4,256 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,671 mm. It has a typical Skoda look with the family grille design and headlamp clusters.

It is rumoured that production version could be called the Kosmiq. The new crossover will be based on the VW Group's MQB A0 IN platform. Leaked patent images suggest that the production version will look similar to the Vision IN Concept.

The Skoda Kosmiq will most likely be powered by a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine producing 148 BHP and 250 Nm. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
