Rajan Amba appointed as MD of Jaguar Land Rover India

Rajan Amba replaces Rohit Suri, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Rajan Amba, VP of Sales, Marketing & Customer Care, Tata Motors, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover India. He will take charge on March 1, 2023. Amba replaces Rohit Suri, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Amba’s contributions have been instrumental in improving customer experience and expanding Tata Motors’ retail network. He has been spearheading the commercial teams since October 2020.

Prior to joining Tata Motors, Amba was the Chief Operating Officer at Carat Lane. He also held several top managerial posts at Titan and Nike.

Rajan Amba holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and has completed MBA in Marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
