Range Rover Fifty limited edition revealed

Land Rover has revealed a 50th-anniversary limited edition of the Range Rover called the Range Rover Fifty. Only 1,970 units of this special edition will be produced. 1970 is the year when the first Range Rover with permanent 4-wheel drive and a V8 engine had rolled off the production line.

The Range Rover Fifty is based on the Autobiography trim and will be available in both standard and long wheelbase versions. It comes with 22-inch alloy wheels in two different designs and Auric Atlas exterior accents. It gets a special 'Fifty' badging, the script for which was designed by Prof Gerry McGovern OBE, Land Rover’s Chief Creative Officer.

On the inside, the Range Rover Fifty gets a "1 of 1970" plaque on the centre console with the 'Fifty' badge. The headrests, dashboard and illuminated treadplates also get the 'Fifty' badge. The SUV will be available with petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrain options.

The Range Rover Fifty will be available in four exterior colour options - Carpathian Grey, Rosello Red, Aruba, and Santorini Black. Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations is also offering Heritage exterior solid paints reproduced from the original Range Rover paint palette. These include Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White.
