Rare Fiat Ducato motorhome left abandoned in Chennai

Motorhomes are a rare sight on Indian roads.

Motorhomes aren't as common in India as they are in some other countries. They are a rare sight on our roads. A Fiat Ducato motorhome has been found abandoned in Chennai. This particular vehicle is the third-generation Ducato.

Back in 2013, Indian coach-building firm JCBL launched a luxury motorhome based on the Ducato. It came equipped with seating for 5 with beds for up to 7 people, a lounge, dining table, washroom, shower, refrigerator, triple gas burner stove, and even a television.

The Fiat Ducato motorhome is powered by a 3.0-litre Multijet diesel engine. Customers could spec it with an automatic gearbox, ABS, ESP and cruise control.
