Regal Raptor motorcycles launched in India

Regal Raptor motorcycles will be launching their first Indian dealership on 9th June in Hyderabad with bookings opening with the showroom’s inauguration. The booking amount is Rs. 50,000. The company offers a range of 250cc-1,600cc engines, but the launch range includes the Daytona 350, Bobber 350 and Cruiser 350, 320cc motorcycles. The Chinese origin company will sell its bikes in India via the CKD route with its partner FAB Motors. FAB Motors will import machinery kits from the parent company’s manufacturing unit, located in Shanghai.

All three motorcycle are powered by the same 320cc, 4-stroke, twin cylinder engine that makes 22.8 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 22 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. 0-60 km/h comes up in a claimed 3.5 seconds with the top speed rated at 130 km/h.

The Cruiser 350 is the most affordable bike in the range with the price coming in at Rs. 2.96 lakh. The Daytona 350 is priced at Rs. 3.22 lakh, while the Bobber 350 is priced at Rs. 3.33 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Hyderabad). All three motorcycles get a 5-speed manual transmission, a 300mm front disc brake and a 240mm rear disc brake. The Daytona 350 gets a 15L fuel tank, while the Bobber and Cruiser use a 14L tank. The motorcycles are mechanically identical and the differences are mainly in the body types and designs.

While the brand will be assembling its motorcycles in Hyderabad and plans to export the motorcycles to markets such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman, the official website is riddled with errors that can easily confuse any prospective buyers.
