Renault enters pre-owned car market with Renault Selection

Renault India has officially launched Renault Selection in Bangalore. The facility will be a medium for customers to buy & sell pre-owned cars of all brands. Renault Selection would also be providing exchange of used multi brand cars for a new Renault car. The cars will be certified and the facility will offer deals on finance, insurance, warranty and road side assistance (RSA).

Renault has gone into partnership with Trident Auto, whose facility is located in Whitefield, Bangalore. The facility is spread over 21,000 Sq. ft, and can accommodate 100 cars at any point of time. Trident Auto is currently involved in the sale, purchase and exchange of both Renault and non-Renault cars.

Each certified pre-owned car is put through 199 quality checks, and will get a warranty of 1 year / 20,000 Km which also includes road side assistance.

Renault sees potential for Renault Selection in the pre-owned car market in the coming years. The company has planned to start operations in Bangalore, Jaipur, Nagpur and Chandigarh. Renault currently offers seven models in the Indian market.
