Renault Kiger to be unveiled on January 28

The Kiger will be offered with a turbocharged petrol engine.

Renault is set to unveil the production-spec Kiger on January 28, 2021. It will be the third global car from the Renault stable to be launched in India first, followed by other markets.

The Kiger is based on the CMF-A+ platform. The same platform underpins the Nissan Magnite crossover. The car was designed by the Corporate design team in France and Renault India design.

In India, the Kiger will be offered with a turbocharged petrol engine. It is likely to be the same 1.0-litre, turbo-petrol unit that powers the Magnite. It produces 99 BHP and 160 Nm. Just like its sister car, the Kiger could also get a 5-speed manual and a CVT option.
