Renault Kwid 1.0 MT & AMT now available in RXL trim

Renault has added a new RXL trim in the manual and AMT line-up of the Kwid 1.0. Before this addition, the Kwid 1.0 MT was available only in the RXT and RXT (O) variants, while the Kwid 1.0 AMT was launched only in the top end RXT (O) trim.

The Kwid RXL 1.0 MT is priced at Rs. 3.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new variant is thus Rs. 22,000 costlier than the Kwid 0.8 RXL trim. On the other hand, the Kwid RXL 1.0 AMT is priced at Rs. 3.84 lakh, making it costlier by Rs. 30,000 than the corresponding MT variant. This new variant has also made the Kwid AMT cheaper than the Alto K10 AMT, which is priced at Rs. 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Kwid 1.0 is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, SCe petrol engine that develops 67 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. This engine can be opted either with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Post the aforementioned variant addition, ex-showroom Delhi prices of the Kwid 1.0 range are:

• Kwid RXL 1.0 MT - Rs. 3.54 lakh

• Kwid RXT 1.0 MT - Rs. 3.89 lakh

• Kwid RXT(O) 1.0 MT - Rs. 4.02 lakh

• Kwid RXL 1.0 AMT - Rs. 3.84 lakh

• Kwid RXT(O) 1.0 AMT - Rs. 4.32 lakh
