Renault Lodgy interiors snapped at close range

French carmaker is planning to launch the Lodgy MPV in India in the near future. We have seen test mules of the vehicle on our roads over the months and now, images of its interiors have made their way to the internet.

The images indicate that the India-spec Lodgy has similar interiors to the European model, which is sold with a Dacia badge. There is a two-tone dashboard, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, instrument cluster with three circular dials that are lined with chrome, circular air-conditioner vents, three rows of seats and a centre armrest for the middle row with cup holders. The interior space of the vehicle also appears to be more than other MPVs in the Indian market.

The Lodgy is based on the same MO platform which is derived from the BO platform of the Renault Duster. It is likely use the Duster's 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine in both 85 PS and 110 PS states of tune.
Renault is likely to position the Lodgy against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Chevrolet Enjoy, Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova.
