Renault's Mobilize Limo EV unveiled for use in fleet services

The electric sedan will be offered via an exclusive subscription plan, however, it will not be available to private buyers.

Groupe Renault's Mobilize brand has unveiled an all-new all-electric sedan, called the Mobilize Limo. The new Mobilize Limo electric sedan is specifically designed for ride-hailing services, private vehicle hires and fleet use.

The new Mobilize Limo comes with an electric powertrain capable of producing 148 BHP and 220 Nm. The sedan is said to be able to reach a top speed of 140 km/h and accelerate from 0 - 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds. It also comes with three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport.

The electric motor is paired with a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which claims a maximum range of 450 km (WLTP cycle). The Limo EV also gets a fast-charging connection capable of adding 241 km of range in just 40 minutes.

In terms of design, the new Mobilize Limo comes with a sharp yet minimalistic styling, featuring LED lighting all around, a coupe-like sloping roofline and a decent ground clearance. Mobilize will be limiting the paint schemes on the Limo to just Metallic Black, Metallic Grey and Glossy White.

On the inside, the electric sedan comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, two-spoke steering wheel and soft-touch material all around. Being targeted for fleet use, the Limo EV offers plenty of space at the rear, while also featuring plenty of equipment such as USB slots, climate vents, refrigerated storage compartments, reading lights and plenty more.

The new Mobilize Limo EV will have its public debut at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Germany on September 8. Renault has also confirmed that the Mobilize Limo will go on sale in certain European markets from the second half of 2022. The electric sedan will be offered via an exclusive subscription plan, however, it will not be available to private buyers.
