Rolls-Royce registers its all-time high annual sales in 2021

The company's sales also hit record high numbers in most markets, including Greater China, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

Rolls-Royce registered its highest-ever yearly sales figures to date, in 2021. The carmaker sold 5,586 units globally in 2021, which is the highest number in the brand's entire 117-year history.

The sales figure recorded last year is 1,836 units more than what it was in the pandemic-struck 2020 and 461 units higher than in 2019. While the company didn't reveal the detailed statistics, it did mention that the Ghost and Cullinan were the major contributors to its sales growth. The Phantom also performed well during the period. The manufacturing unit of Rolls-Royce is said to be running at near-full capacity, with its order books full till the third quarter of 2022.

The company's sales also hit record high numbers in most markets, including Greater China, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

The company is said to be working on its first pure-electric offering, the Spectre. The Rolls-Royce Spectre EV will be globally unveiled sometime in 2023.
