Royal Enfield 650 Twins launch on November 14, 2018

Royal Enfield is set to launch the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor INT 650 in India on November 14, 2018.

The Continental GT 650 is a cafe racer style bike with low handle bars and a single seat. The Interceptor INT 650 is designed for street use and features raised handle bars, twin seat and a teardrop shaped fuel tank. Both bikes get circular headlamps, twin-dial instrument clusters and swept up twin exhausts.

The new 650 Twins are based on a double cradle chassis and share the same 650cc, parallel twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces 47 BHP @ 7,100 rpm and 52 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slip/assist clutch. The bikes come equipped with 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin coil-over shock absorbers at the rear. They have 320 mm and 240 mm disc brakes at the front and rear respectively and come with ABS.
