Royal Enfield Constellation name trademarked for new model

Royal Enfield is said to be working on introducing three 650cc motorcycles.

Royal Enfield Constellation name has been trademarked, which could be used on one of the brand's upcoming motorcycles.

The name was last used by Royal Enfield in America on a 700cc twin-cylinder model, back in the 1950s. The name could now be revived for one of the new 650cc models scheduled to be introduced in the market soon.

As per our earlier reports, Royal Enfield is said to be working on introducing three 650cc motorcycles. While one is expected to be called the Super Meteor, the second will be the SG650 bobber concept and the third is said to be Roadster, which is most likely to get the Constellation nameplate.

However, the reports are still speculative at this point, with the Chennai-based bike brand yet to confirm anything officially.
