Royal Enfield electric motorcycle spied for the first time

Royal Enfield's first electric motorcycle will be unveiled at EICMA on November 4.

Royal Enfield is all set to reveal its first-ever electric motorcycle at EICMA on November 4, 2024. Now, ahead of the bike's formal unveiling, a pre-production test mule has been spotted on the streets of Barcelona, Spain.

This is the first time we’ve seen the Royal Enfield electric bike in its near-production form. Despite being a modern EV, it retains the brand’s classic look.

The overall design of the electric bike is based on the Electrik01 concept. The teardrop-shaped fuel tank design and the retro headlamp have been carried over. The bike is also equipped with girder forks and a rear fender similar to the Flying Flea from the 1940s. Other details include circular mirrors finished in chrome, round turn indicators, a circular tail lamp, a single seat and a digital instrument console.

The technical specifications of the upcoming e-bike from Royal Enfield are still unclear. That being said, the battery and electric motor seem to have been packaged within the frame of the bike. It has a mono-shock rear suspension and will be offered with alloy wheels.
