Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric Prototype V2.0 revealed

The Version 2.0 uses a new battery and motor. It also has electronic suspension.

Royal Enfield unveiled its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, at EICMA a short while ago. Alongside the C6, the company also showcased the second prototype of the electric Himalayan called Version 2.0.

The Electric Himalayan 2.0 looks like a typical ADV. It has a circular LED headlamp with a tall windscreen at the front, a single-piece seat and raised handlebars.

The electric motor and battery pack are encased in a metal fairing housed inside the frame. The Version 2.0 is equipped with an electronic suspension, featuring an upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. The electric bike rides on spoked wheels shod with off-road tyres and has disc brakes at both ends.

Royal Enfield hasn’t disclosed the full technical specifications of the Himalayan Electric Prototype Version 2.0. However, the company says, that it uses a new battery and motor and gets a redesigned digital instrument console.
