Royal Enfield president Rudratej Singh resigns

Rudratej Singh has resigned from the post of the President of Royal Enfield.

Singh joined Royal Enfield back in January 2015. He led the commercial business for the brand and was also in charge of global sales, after-sales, branding, marketing and new product strategy among other verticals. Models like the Classic 350 Redditch, Thunderbird 350X and 500X as well as Classic 350 and 500 series were launched under his leadership.

Reports suggest that Singh has decided to pursue opportunities outside of the company. Before joining Royal Enfield, Singh was working with Unilever.

Lalit Malik, who is the chief financial officer at Eicher Motors will assume the responsibility of chief commercial officer. Shaji Koshy (head – business markets, India), Rod Copes (head – business markets, North America), Arun Gopal (head – business markets, Europe and LATAM), Vimal Sumbly (head – business markets, APAC), Rich Rawlins (head – motorcycle accessories), Puneet Sood (head – apparel) and Pankaj Sharma (head – customer experience) will be reporting to Malik.
