Royal Enfield has partnered with 'Purpose Built Moto' to create a one-off vintage bike based on the Super Meteor 650. It's called Project Delta.
The one-off Royal Enfield Project Delta is a modern 650cc twin-cylinder motorcycle dressed as a 1940s classic. The design is inspired by the Super Meteor 700 and Flying Flea, which is evident from the hardtail styling and girder fork setup.
The small fuel tank is a nod to the Super Meteor 700. It also has hand-shifted gears, solid-mounted handlebars, a rear mono-shock and wirespoke wheels with a 23-inch rim in the front and a 19-inch rim at the back. The bike is finished in black with gold accents.
At the heart of Project Delta is Royal Enfield's 648cc, parallel twin engine. It delivers 46 BHP and 52 Nm. It is fitted with modern brakes with discs at both ends.
Project Delta will remain a one-off prototype and is unlikely to see the light of day as a production model.
