Royal Enfield has launched the Super Meteor 650 in India. The cruiser is available in three variants: Astral, Interstellar and Celestial, with prices starting from Rs 3,48,900 (ex-showroom).
The Super Meteor 650 is the third model based on the 650cc platform and shares its underpinnings with the Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650. The bike features a circular LED headlamp and a windscreen, a classic teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a stepped seat and dual chrome exhausts.
The Super Meteor also gets Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation system integrated into a twin-pod instrument console. It offers Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charging port as well.
The Super Meteor 650 is powered by a 648cc, twin-cylinder engine that belts out 47 BHP and 52.3 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets an upside-down fork suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear, while braking is handled by disc brakes, a single rotor at each end.
The Super Meteor 650 is available in 7 colour schemes: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, Interstellar Green, Celestial Red, and Celestial Blue.
