Rumour: BMW X3 facelift launch in February 2022

Pre-bookings for the 2022 BMW X3 could commence in January.

BMW took the wraps off the X3 facelift back in June this year. Now, according to some dealers, the SUV could be launched in India in February 2022, and pre-bookings could commence in January itself.

The 2022 BMW X3 gets redesigned LED headlamps and a slightly larger kidney grille. The SUV also gets reworked front and rear bumpers and new LED taillights.

On the inside, the updated X3 comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster of the same size. The car gets the latest-generation iDrive connected technology, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

At present, the X3 is available with two engine options. These include a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 248 BHP and 350 Nm as well as a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 188 BHP and 400 Nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
